	2006.08.21  10.41 War! I Said War! Yeah..okay...maybe I'm too excited. Just came off a week of vacation - a weekend spent at home trying to catch up on everything that has been sitting on the backburner for months. I managed to accomplish a lot - not everything on my list but a lot. War will be upon us in less then 2 weeks. Tony & I have put a lot work into this event - we hope it pays off. We think the NE will enjoy :) THE DAUGHTER called us - she's joined the Army. Leaves next June after graduation. Funniest thing - our friends daughter will most likely be in basic trainig with her. Peas of a Pod? Very, Very possible. We're excited for her..it will be a whole new chapter of her life and a whole new beginning for her. Well - Back to work - too much to catch up on here...aahh...the joys of coming back from vacation... Mood: content

	2006.06.20  14.07 Which X-men Character Are You? I guess they were right! Once upon a time, long, long ago (when I had a life outside of motherhood), I spent an evening sitting at a local coffee shop with a bunch of good friends. We spent the evening chattering about a lot of nothing, that at the time, felt like it should be important. Someone asked which X-Men character we might compare ourselves too (this was BEFORE the movies came out - when we actually just read the comic book or watched the animated show). Well - the bantering began and suddenly (and I'm not kidding), everyone turned to me and said "we all know who STORM would be." I just chuckled. 	2006.06.19  13.35 What a Weekend Well - Sir Antoine & I are still working on securing the site for IMperial War here in PA. We hope it goes well. When this whole idea came up we thought it was "GREAT!" But now, 3 weeks into it and we're both still trying to sort things out. The next time I allow myself to be "volunteered" for something of this nature - someone please **SMACK ME** - please. Beware - I may like it and ask you to do it again :) We hope everyone likes the site - it's not hard to find and is accomodating - but if other vote "NO" to using it again - we can try to secure different sites for May's War - we'll have more time - 8 months instead of 2 1/2!! In other news - the monster-child, otherwise known as Carter is still being a pirate - he knows every verse to "Muppet Treasure Island" - much to his father's chagrin :) He carts around his treasure maps like their - well - treasure. I need a vacation from this though - even one day would be dandy. I think I'll call my Mommy about that :) I have so much to do around the house right now and not enough time to do it all. My weekends need to be longer!! Sir Antoine met with a prospective member this weekend. We hope he joins - he's been lurking for some time now and is a good guy. He's an avid gamer with six - YES SIX - kids. I don't know how he does it. I couldn't. He has other friends who may be interested in joining as well - so this could be the start of a good growth period for Burgandy (we hope). That is my most exciting life today.
